Drainage collectors should be built at the village development stage

It is good practice to build drainage collectors alongside the streets so that they reach every plot. In later years, it will be possible to feed into them the drainage water from old agricultural drains, roof drains and building foundations. Call on developers to get in touch - we will recommend designers.

The video shows the scene that awaits the owners of the village if the old agricultural drainage is removed. The village developer saved €1000.

We have also repaired drainage systems on our own. In very small cases it often works, but for larger pieces there is neither precision nor quality, and in the end it is just wasted labour and material. We have chosen Dambekalns drainage for the fourth year for a number of reasons. Firstly, there is a lot of work involved in land reclamation, and we cannot do it ourselves. Secondly, the company has a very professional team, and thirdly, the work is done quickly: in two or three days. On average, we lay 1.5-2 km of new drainage system per year.

Our cooperation with Dambekalns was established on the recommendation of a neighbouring farmer. We have been cooperating for several years. I am a land reclamation engineer by colledge and I appreciate the fact that the work has been done professionally and according to my vision. We plan the work in winter, mark the draine branches in the field in spring, and then in summer we dig. Next year we take the field.

We have been cooperating with Dambekalnas melioration for four years. I don't understand why there is not a queue at this company for several years ahead.
